How often will you email me?
Only when there's news worth telling you: a pay offer or vote, a new pay table, back pay dates, an intake opening or a super change. There's no fixed schedule, and some months there will be nothing.
Is it free?
Yes. Some emails mention our calculators and paid tools where they're relevant, but you never have to buy anything to stay on the list.
Who sends it?
Police Pay Australia, an independent site. We're not part of any police force, police association or union. Every email says who it's from and has a link to change your topics or unsubscribe.
Where do the facts come from?
From the official sources: enterprise agreements and awards, industrial commission decisions, force recruitment pages and super scheme rules. We link the source in every update.
Can I change my topics or unsubscribe?
Yes. Every email has a 'Choose what we email you about' link where you can tick or untick topics and your force, for example moving from applying to serving, or adding super as retirement gets closer. You can unsubscribe there too, or from your account once your email is verified.
I'm on the Police Pay UK newsletter. Is this the same list?
No. Police Pay Australia and Police Pay UK keep separate lists. Signing up here adds you to the Australian newsletter only, and unsubscribing here doesn't affect the UK one.
