The short answer

The Recruit Prep Bundle costs A$79.99 one-off and gives 180 days' access to the AI mock interview (up to 60 scored answers a day), Entrance Exam Prep (up to 40 practice sets a day plus AI-marked writing) and a personalised Fitness Test Pass Plan. Bought separately the three cost A$99.97, and the interview pass alone lasts only 30 days.

Fair-use limits, not 'unlimited'

Every AI tool has a daily fair-use limit, shown above, which resets at midnight UTC. The limits are set well above what a serious applicant uses in a day; they exist so automated abuse can't run up costs for everyone.

What each tool is like to use

AI mock interview

You pick your force and a question (motivation, integrity, communication, teamwork, resilience, decision making, community focus or a situational dilemma), then answer by typing or out loud in Chrome, Edge or Safari. A timer and word count keep you near the two-to-three-minute length panels expect.

Seconds later you get a score out of 10, a band, a summary and a 0–10 score for each part of STAR. With the bundle you also get three strengths, three improvements, a stronger model answer that keeps your own facts, and three follow-up questions to practise next.

Entrance Exam Prep

Choose one of five sections, your force and a difficulty, and the AI writes a fresh set of ten original multiple-choice questions. Each answer reveals a short worked explanation, and the end of the set shows your score and time. The writing marker gives you a police-style prompt, times you, and marks your response on task, structure, clarity, spelling and grammar, tone and relevance, with corrections and a rewritten opening.

Fitness Test Pass Plan

You enter your force, weeks until the test, how many sessions you can do each week, your current beep level, push-ups and plank, your swimming, equipment and any injuries. In about 30 seconds you get a summary, your gaps ranked by priority, a week-by-week programme with timed sessions, and test-day tips. Print it, follow it, re-test every few weeks and regenerate.

Practice aids, not official tests

Every question and prompt is original. The tools aren't affiliated with any force, ACER or test provider, and AI feedback can occasionally be wrong. Use them alongside your force's own candidate information.

The bigger difference is time. A recruitment process often runs for months: Victoria quotes about six months on average, and the AFP says 6 to 9 months on role pages and often up to 12 months. A 30-day interview pass bought too early can run out before your panel. The bundle keeps all three tools open for 180 days.

Who the bundle is for (and who it isn't)

A good fit if you

  • ✓Are applying to a force with a written test, a fitness test and a panel interview
  • ✓Have three months or more before your assessments
  • ✓Want structured feedback rather than generic guides
  • ✓Are short of the fitness standard and need a plan

Probably not for you if you

  • ✕Are applying to NSW or WA and only need interview practice
  • ✕Are exempt from your force's written exam
  • ✕Already meet the fitness standard comfortably
  • ✕Are preparing for promotion rather than recruitment

If you're a serving officer preparing for sergeant, see Promotion Prep instead; the bundle's interview tool is for recruit questions.

From each force's recruiting pages, checked 9 October 2026. NSW lists an interview 'only if needed'.

Most forces test all three. Where there's no written exam, you'll still face psychometric or psychological testing, and the reasoning and situational judgement practice in Entrance Exam Prep still helps. Not sure which force to choose? Try the force quiz.

How to use the bundle over 8 weeks

A plan for someone with two months until their assessments, about 45 to 60 minutes a day.

  1. 1

    Week 1: baseline everything

    Set your starting point

Build your fitness plan from honest numbers. Do one exam set in each of the five sections. Write 10 interview examples and answer two questions in the mock interview.

  2. 2

    Weeks 2–3: attack the weakest

    Build habits

Follow the fitness plan's sessions. Two exam sets a day in your two weakest sections. One interview answer a day, re-answered with the top improvement.

  3. 3

    Week 4: re-test and adjust

    Check progress

Re-test the beep test, push-ups and plank, and regenerate your fitness plan. Write two timed pieces in the writing marker. Switch interview practice to spoken answers.

  4. 4

    Weeks 5–6: speed and pressure

    Raise the bar

Timed exam sets at challenging difficulty. Situational judgement every other day. Interview: one competency a day, with the follow-up questions.

  5. 5

    Week 7: simulate

    Dress rehearsal

Run your force's exam sections back to back with real timings. A full mock panel: five questions in a row without notes. A practice fitness test.

  6. 6

    Week 8: taper and polish

    Arrive fresh

Lighter training, as your plan's final week suggests. Review your best interview answers and the model answers. Rest before each assessment.

Applicants rarely fail for lack of ability. They fail one stage they left until last.

A realistic daily routine

Fitting prep around work or study

Training

Time
30–45 min, 4–5 days a week
What to do
That day's session from your fitness plan

Exam practice

Time
15–20 min
What to do
One set of 10 in your weakest section; read every explanation

Interview

Time
10–15 min
What to do
One answer, out loud once you're past week 3

Writing

Time
35 min, twice a week
What to do
One timed piece in the writing marker

Habits that make the bundle pay off

  • ✓ Do the hardest block first, while you're fresh
  • ✓ Keep a single notebook of mistakes and fixes
  • ✓ Re-answer weak interview questions rather than moving on
  • ✓ Re-test fitness every two to three weeks
  • ✓ Book your assessments, so the deadline is real
  • ✓ Rest at least one full day a week

Try everything free first

You don't need to take our word for it. Every part of the bundle except the fitness plan has a free daily version, and the fitness plan has free companion tools.

Frequently asked questions

What's in the Recruit Prep Bundle?

Three AI tools for 180 days: the AI mock interview (up to 60 scored answers a day, with strengths, improvements, model answers and follow-up questions), Entrance Exam Prep (up to 40 practice sets of 10 a day across five sections, plus full written-exercise marking) and the Fitness Test Pass Plan (a personalised week-by-week programme you can regenerate up to six times a day).

How much do I save with the bundle?

Bought separately, the three cost A$99.97: A$34.99 for a 30-day interview pass, A$39.99 for exam prep and A$24.99 for the fitness plan. The bundle is A$79.99, a saving of A$19.98, and the interview access lasts 180 days instead of 30.

Is it a subscription?

No. It's a single payment with no automatic renewal. When the access period ends, the tools return to their free daily limits.

Do I need the bundle if my force has no written exam?

Maybe not. NSW and WA don't list a separate written entrance exam, and Victoria and SA exempt some applicants, such as degree holders. If you don't need exam prep, the AI mock interview and the fitness plan bought separately may suit you better. Check your force's process first.

Does the bundle guarantee I'll pass?

No. No practice product can guarantee an outcome. The tools give you structured practice and feedback; your result depends on your preparation and how you perform on the day. We're independent and not affiliated with any force, ACER or test provider.

Do I need an account?

Not to buy. You go straight to secure checkout, then add an email and password afterwards so your access is saved to you and works on any device you sign in on. The free tools work without an account.

What if a tool doesn't work for me?

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law aren't excluded. If a paid tool doesn't work as described, contact us within 14 days and we'll fix it or refund you, as set out in our terms.

Can I use the questions in my real application?

Use the tools to practise and get feedback, then write and say everything in your own words. Some forces, such as Tasmania Police, prohibit using AI for written application answers and run random checks.
